Welcome to the William Daniel Mills Theatre Company
Since the beginning of 2021, the W. Daniel Mills Apprenticeship Program has provided nearly 90 students the opportunity to earn while they learn from locally and nationally recognized professional theater artists. The William Daniel Mills Apprenticeship Program was established by the parents of Daniel Mills, a Montverde Academy Theatre Conservatory student who died in a boating accident in May 2020. The mission of this program is to offer free training to exceptionally talented young people between the ages of 13-22 along with paid work on stage and backstage collaborating with established professionals. The goal is to remove any financial barrier to this unique opportunity in order to help grow the next generation of theatre artists and inspire more diverse voices to enter the profession.
